How do I use Nespresso®* type Pods?

Stainless Pods:

STEP 1. BEANS & GRIND

The best coffee is made with freshly roasted and ground coffee. We suggest buying your coffee from a favourite local roaster or cafe. Ask for the beans to be ground to a fine grind, somewhere between "espresso" and "stovetop", which translates to a coarseness of around 0.35mm. Prepackaged capsules are designed to brew between 25-110 mL of coffee per unit, talk to your local barista to ensure you get the perfect coffee to water ratio for your favourite blend.

STEP 2. FILLING THE POD

Using a coffee measuring spoon, fill the capsule with 4.2 g of ground coffee. Tamp using the base of your measuring spoon. Ensure capsule is full to ± 5mm from rim. Ensure any excess grinds are brushed from the sealing rim.

STEP 3. SEALING THE POD

Peel off a sticker lid and place it on the rim of the pod. Now tap pod on counter top to loosen compressed coffee. When you shake the pod you should hear the coffee move when placing it next to your ear. Place your pod into your coffee capsule machine and brew as per normal.
